Englewood Cliffs, NJ February 8, 2017) – Nearly one of every three magazines sold at the newsstand is a Bauer Media Group USA publication according to numbers reported in Alliance for Audited Media’s (AAM) December 2016 Snapshot Report yesterday.
Bauer magazines represent 29% of the total single copy sales in the second half of 2016,* ranking Bauer once again as the number one seller of magazines at retail in the country.
According to the same Snapshot Report analyzing nearly 450 magazines, Bauer now publishes three of the top four selling magazines at newsstand. Woman’s World and First for Woman have maintained their #1 and #2 positions, averaging 766,429 and 718,152 in single copy sales, respectively, and account for nearly two out of every three women’s service magazines at retail. In Touch Weekly has secured the #4 position, averaging 305,778 in single copy sales.
