Englewood Cliffs, NJ (January 4, 2016) – Bauer Media Group USA, the No. 1 seller of magazines at retail in the country, today announces the appointment of Richard Calkins to Senior Vice President of Customer Relations, effective January 4. In this newly created position, Calkins will focus on enhancing Bauer’s relationships with its retail partners, implementing new strategies to maximize profitability for both parties while further expanding on Bauer’s lead in market share. Calkins will report directly to Bauer Media Group USA President and CEO, Hubert Boehle.

For the past 20 years, Calkins has held several executive positions at SC Johnson. In those positions, he achieved gains in revenue, profit and market share, which exceeded budgeted expectations.
Boehle also announces today that Dennis Cohen, Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing, has added the administration of the single copy sales department to his responsibilities. Richard Parker, Senior Vice President, will be assigned special projects as well as consult on various new industry initiatives, effective January 4. Both will continue to report to Boehle.
