NEW YORK, NY (June 5, 2008) –
Bauer Publishing Group announced today that Life & Style Weekly is now measured by MRI, reaching an audience of 4,566,000 in its initial release.
According to recently released figures for the Spring 2008 MRI, Life & Style’s audience is 82% female, with a median age of 31.7.
“As a strong and vital brand, Life & Style is today’s essential connection to the trendsetting young woman,” said Maria Padova, Publisher of Life & Style. “These MRI numbers confirm that the magazine is reaching a young, affluent, female reader so important to advertisers across a range of categories.”
Life & Style is the only weekly title devoted to stars, style and shopping, filling a distinct position in the marketplace between the celebrity weeklies and the fashion/beauty monthlies.
“Our weekly frequency allows us to maintain a continuous and timely dialogue with consumers,” continued Ms. Padova. “And with 40% of our editorial devoted to fashion and beauty, we deliver trends and news to our readers as they happen.”
Launched in late 2004, Life & Style is now the 13th largest selling magazine at the newsstand in the country, generating 99% of its circulation through single copy sales.
